I’m a passionate off-road rider who has experienced motorcycle theft on two separate occasions. Unfortunately, I learnt the hard way by using inferior security products. If you've ever been in my position, you'll know the gut-wrenching feeling of helplessness that comes with a motorcycle theft. You sit and wonder what you could have done differently to prevent it. Between my own experiences and seeing others suffer the same way, I embarked on a mission to design a new generation of motorcycle security products, with the aim of giving like-minded riders a sense of satisfaction knowing that your motorcycles are kept safe from the hands of thieves.

SOLID FOUNDATIONS
I’m currently at the time of writing on my 33 rd bike, and touch wood I have never had one stolen. But whilst on this motorbike journey, I met Matt and was blown away by his drive and ambition to develop a product that was real world practical and durable, whilst meeting the most rigorous of standards. I was in a very fortunate place to help him realise his dream, from raising funding and ensuring partnerships were in place giving him the platform to thrive. Giving back is an over used trope, but the motorcycle world has given me so much, and I wanted to make sure I can do all I can to make sure people don’t have to feel the gut-wrenching feelings that Matt and so many others have experienced.

The reason Fortlox exists. Forged from frustration with flimsy locks and false promises, the X Series Floor Mounted Wheel Lock is built to do one thing: stop thieves. It bolts straight into your garage, van or trailer floor, grips most 17", 19" and 21" front wheel, and holds the bike upright to save space. The 22mm solid steel locking pin is positioned to resist cutting disc attacks. Hand made in the UK from 6mm steel with a corrosion-resistant finish. Supplied with padlock and fixings. Lock side can be set left or right, as you sit on the bike.
